Road Recorder 6000 Series

The RoadRecorder® 6000 PRO Mobile Digital Video Recorder (MDVR) is Safety Vision’s flagship onboard surveillance product. The system performs mobile surveillance using end-to-end digital video-, audio-, and sensor-recording technology. This onboard camera surveillance system operates on mass transit buses and railcars, as well as first responder and other fleet vehicles.

The RoadRecorder 6000 PRO can record up to 300 frames per second  on up to 10 cameras, giving you smoother streaming video than available on other mobile digital video recording systems. The 6000 series offers selectable recording speed, camera image size, and up to eight electrically isolated sensor channels, including dual-track audio.

All recorded information is stored on removable, shock-resistant disk storage media—the “hard drive canister." The information is recorded in a secure file format using digital encryption for authentication purposes, which prevents alteration or tampering and prevents unauthorized access. As available disk space fills, new information writes over the old information in a linear sequence. The sequence continues indefinitely.
